With this surely being the case for plenty of fans, Bungie has revealed that the game’s Faction Rally event will return next week to fill that void, and it will bring about new weapons for players to acquire.

According to a recent blog post from Bungie, come February 20, 2018 at 9:00 AM PST, another Faction Rally will be available within Destiny 2, and this time around, players will be able to take on Lost Sectors with no timers to hold them back. For those Destiny 2 fans who may be taking on Faction Rallies for the first time next week, it’s important to know that one must first visit the Tower and pledge loyalty to one of the factions. After that, Guardians will need to head out to into the field to complete various activities and earn Faction Rally tokens. Once players have earned enough tokens to qualify for a reward, they can then exchange them for packages full of loot.

While some Guardians will be pleased to learn that Bungie will be bringing Faction Rallies back next week to give them something more to do, many Destiny 2 players are undoubtedly looking forward to the game’s next major content release. According to Activision, the next big expansion is set for later this year, with most speculating it will come in fall 2018. With any luck, the add-on will be executed in a similar way to the original Destiny‘s The Taken King DLC, and will help set the shooter back on track.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
