The meteor has arrived! After weeks of clues, hints, and rumors; the Fortnite Season 4 update is now rolling out and players are able to see how the map has changed and start unlocking new content. Although checking out the impact site of the meteor is priority number one for many gamers, gaining access to as many new skins as possible is also pretty high on the list.
One of the coolest cosmetic options to arrive in the Fortnite Season 4 update is the Omega skin. This top tier skin is the ultimate reward in Season 4 and players will need to put in some serious work to gain access to it.
First off, players interested in the Omega skin need to purchase the Battle Pass. After that, to unlock the Omega skin players need to reach tier 100. To get to tier 100, gamers can complete challenges and perform well in the game. That pretty much makes Omega the John Wick of Season 4…
One change in the new season is that the top tier Omega skin will apparently be upgradable, as well. Obviously it will take a little time until players complete the grind and max out the new tier 100 skin, but we’ll be sure to post updates as we learn more about those options.
It sounds simple enough, but getting to tier 100 is a serious grind. If you want to sport that Omega skin, we suggest getting to work as soon as possible.
Fortnite Battle Royale is free to play now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Mobile.
