Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players, assuming they didn’t splurge on any microtransactions and have consistently played since launch, should now be getting through Year 2 of their Hogwarts education. As we’ve detailed before, Year 2 brings a number of changes to the game, including a new way to get free energy.
For the uninitiated, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players can explore the castle grounds in search of free energy reserves by clicking on objects in the environment. Year 2 gives players one more way to collect free energy than Year 1, thanks to the fact that a brand new area of the castle is opened up. Players should make collecting this free energy a regular part of their Hogwarts Mystery routine, as it will help them get through the story as fast as possible.
With that in mind, here are all the objects players can tap to collect free energy in Year 2:
Basically, Year 2 gives players one extra object to tap in exchange for free energy. This isn’t a whole lot, but every little bit counts when it costs so much energy just to get through a single lesson in the game. Year 2 makes the star requirement for lessons even longer, by the way, so getting through the second year is going to take even longer than usual.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will be adding even more content in the future, including the ability to adopt pets, so it’s reasonable to assume more free energy reserves will be added to the game as well. Fans will just have to stay tuned in the meantime.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
