Occasionally, Fortnite players get the chance to obtain cosmetic items in ways other than the usual Battle Pass and item shop – namely, through promotional deals Epic Games has with premium services such as Amazon Prime and PlayStation Plus. Such an opportunity has been announced through Twitch Prime’s twitter, in the form of the Twitch Prime Pack #2 for players on all platforms.
The cosmetic pack comes two months after Twitch Prime Pack #1, which offered players darkened camouflage skins and a glider. Like its predecessor, the Twitch Prime Pack #2 simply requires a Twitch Prime account – included with all Amazon Prime memberships – for Fortnite players to gain free access to the cosmetics.
Continuing the military theme from the first pack, the skin and back bling both feature a green camo design. The pack consists of the Trailblazer Outfit, True North Back Bling, Tenderizer Pickaxe, and the Freestylin’ Emote.

To redeem these items, players will first have to ensure that their Amazon Prime account is linked to their Twitch account, giving access to Twitch Prime and all of its benefits. This Twitch Prime account should then be linked to the player’s Epic Games account, giving free access to the pack.
This latest reward scheme is a result of the mutually-beneficial relationship shared between Fortnite and Twitch, with the game continuing to draw in record figures for the streaming service. However, even if you do not have an Amazon Prime account, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial in order to obtain the cosmetic pack, then cancel within that 30 days to avoid being charged. Once the items have been obtained on your Epic Games account, they will be accessible across all of the platforms you play on.
With this latest cosmetic pack, and Fortnite’s huge current crossover mode with Avengers: Infinity War, Epic Games continue to demonstrate how a game’s phenomenal success can pave the way to multiple partnerships with other forms of popular media. Players can no doubt expect to see many more such crossovers as Fortnite Battle Royale‘s action-packed Season 4 continues.
Fortnite Battle Royale is free-to-play on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Mobile.
