PUBG Mobile: This Might Be Why You Won

PUBG Mobile: This Might Be Why You Won

To the surprise of many, PUBG Mobile was launched for iOS and Android mobile devices in western territories the other day. As gamers downloaded the mobile version of the popular battle royale game, many managed to claim a “chicken dinner” in their first match, even if they haven’t been particularly good at it on other platforms.

As it turns out, there is a reason for this. When players are first starting out in PUBG Mobile, they are placed in matches that mostly consist of bots. As players level up, the bots are replaced by real people, until it’s almost all actual players and few bots. This means that players are far more likely to win in PUBG Mobile when they’re first starting out, as opposed to later on, when it will become much more challenging.

This may be disappointing news for players who thought that they were just naturally skilled at the mobile version of the game. However, it’s a clever way to make sure people have a positive experience the first time they play PUBG Mobile. And for veteran players that are already skilled at PUBG, these early matches could help them get used to the controls with the least amount of frustration.

While we can see why the developers decided to go this route, it could potentially upset fans. After all, winning a match of PUBG is a rare occurrence for many people, and thinking you won only to find out that the victory was basically meaningless because of bots can be disheartening. It’s possible that some fans may feel tricked by this, and it could potentially hurt their opinion on the game.

Others won’t be bothered by the use of bots, and may even see it as something PUBG Mobile has over the PC and console versions of the game. Anyone interested in testing PUBG Mobile‘s bots for themselves can download the game on their phone and see what all the fuss is about.

PUBG Mobile is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
