Fortnite Fan Makes Dragon Ball Emote Concept

Without a doubt, many within the Fortnite community can be considered as talented individuals, as one fan recently showed off their own personal gun customization concept for the game, including skin, emblem, and effect designs. Now, yet another devotee to the free-to-play Battle Royale title has decided to display their skills by putting forth the rather fun and novel idea for a two-person emote inspired by the Dragon Ball franchise.

As seen in the image below from the Redditor and Fortnite fan by the name of “Nkattz”, the user has created concept art for a potential emote design that would have characters emulating the Fusion process that takes place multiple times within the Dragon Ball series. Should Epic Games decide to incorporate this design in some way, then it would certainly be the ultimate emote choice for squad members to use after taking down enemies together.

While Epic Games would possibly have to overcome some sort of legal copyright issue to include the Dragon Ball-styled emote, it certainly hasn’t stopped the company from adding others in the past that have seemingly been inspired by different pop culture properties. For instance, one of the earliest emotes found within Fortnite Battle Royale was a direct reference to a Scrubs episode in which the character Turk dances to the song “Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe, while a more recent one is apparently a nod to a celebration dance from the character Elaine Benes in Seinfeld.

In addition to Fortnite‘s inspiration for emotes from other cultural artifacts, Epic Games has also taken cues from pop culture for its character outfits as well, with the company having added a John Wick-styled skin in the game not too long ago. With this being the case, perhaps a plethora of fans will generate enough support for Nkattz’s concept for the Dragon Ball Fusion emote to garner the attention of Epic to find a way to add it into the Battle Royale portion of the title.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS devices, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
