Come this April 5, the Hearthstone hotfix will go live. The full list of fixes can be found on the Blizzard forums, with 17 changes lined up for the game.
Players will no longer be able to find the Cannibalism Passive Treasure from Duels. The Pen Flinger will also be removed from designer buckets in Duels. The rest of the changes all focus on the bugs when playing the game itself.
For players who love their Shamans, the Hearthstone hotfix should be of particular interest. It will fix the bug where Totemic Call could still summon Wrath of the Air Totem when playing with certain Shaman skins.
Squashing and cleaning
In case you did not know, Forged in the Barrens made some changes to the Shaman hero’s ability. The Wrath of the Air Totem, which grants +1 spell damage, was replaced with the Strength Totem. This totem will grant a minion +1 attack instead.
However, if you go into a game with other skins instead of the default Thrall one, Wrath of the Air Totem can still appear. For those who rely heavily on spell damage, this has been a great time to utilize the Shaman hero class. The Hearthstone hotfix will put a stop to that.
Of course, the other changes being made will smooth out the overall gameplay. The fewer cards that act out, the better it is for the Hearthstone community. Be sure to jump in after the hotfix goes live for the best Hearthstone experience.
