Borderlands 3 season pass 2

Borderlands 3 season pass 2 begins November 10

In some not-so-surprising news, developer Gearbox Software has revealed that Borderlands 3 is getting even more content. Yes, the sequel to the game that never stopped getting DLC, is getting more DLC! Season pass 2 for Borderlands 3 kicks off on November 10, when the “Designer’s Cut” content arrives.

Designer’s Cut will deliver an additional skill tree for each Vault Hunter and a brand-new game mode called Arms Race. Beyond that, the team hasn’t revealed much, except a list of livestream times on when we’ll hear more. It all begins on October 20, when the new skill trees for Amara and FL4K are shown off.

Following that, Moze and Zane will see their skill tree reveals on October 22, also via livestream. A week later, The Borderlands Show will premiere, with the grand reveal of the Arms Race mode and “much more.” On October 30, another livestream will finally show hands-on gameplay from Arms Race, ahead of its November 10 launch. All livestream reveals are set to take place at 9 AM PT.

If all of this livestream content isn’t to your taste, you needn’t worry. The individual character pages for Amara the Siren, FL4K the Beastmaster, Moze the Gunner, and Zane the Operative will all be updated with the new skill tree info, once it’s been revealed.

The seasons so far

The fourth and final content drop for the first Borderlands 3 season pass arrived back in September. The Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC was exactly as it sounds, a mental trip down memory lane back to Psycho Krieg from Borderlands 2. It wrapped up the initial season of content but as is typical with Borderlands, there’s always more.

Some of that manifests as seasonal events, like the ongoing Bloody Harvest Halloween event, which is live in Borderlands 3 until November 5. However, it’s clear that Gearbox isn’t done delivering DLC packs, and the second portion of season pass 2 for Borderlands 3 will be revealed in the future. For now, all we have is a name for part two and that is Director’s Cut.
