Year 5 Season 1 Asunder introduces the limited-time in-game mode, the Carousel of Horkos, to For Honor. The new 4v4 game mode will be available for players until April 1. If you need even more reasons to jump in, know that there is a free pass for you to conquer during the event. With 30 tiers to complete, there is plenty to get done before the Horkos Masquerade is done and dusted.
That is not all that arrives in For Honor Year 5 Season 1 Asunder, of course. The launch trailer has more to highlight.
A new wave of combat
There are even more armor variations, as well as weapons to get your hands on. Paired emotes are also debuting, allowing you to show your chemistry with fellow players. These are all available as part of the new Battle Bundle.
The Warden also received a rework following player testing and feedback. Shoulder Bash should feel much fairer on the battlefield, and will allow for a better flow in combat moving forward. The Warden’s heavy attacks are now more effective though, plus his zone attack will feel more useful when chasing down opponents.
There are a ton of bug fixes thrown into the mix as well. Ubisoft is clearly working hard to refine the For Honor experience with Year 5 Season 1 Asunder.
A crossover with Shovel Knight and the wacky Halloween event have recently led to some craziness in For Honor, but the foundation of combat and blood spilling still stands strong. Get ready to test your might, as more in-game events will be revealed soon.
