Interact with equipment at any IO radar dish base is one of this week’s epic quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

This challenge went live during Week 11 of this season, and it’s the third step of the questline that involves the tasks to travel in a Saucer and use the Recon Scanner to spot an infected wildlife or Trespasser.

This one in particular asks you to interact with equipment at any of the IO radar dish bases scattered across the Fortnite map.

Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP to help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass.

How to interact with equipment at any IO radar dish base in Fortnite explained

For this particular challenge, there is a total of seven IO bases for you to visit and complete the task. You only have to do this once, so feel free to take your pick and go to the nearest one during your travels.

At a glance, you can find the locations below:

So, what exactly is the equipment, then? While the quest does not specify it, the task refers to orange screens that are usually placed on the antennas of each area.

You can see an example of them in the IO base located southeast of Misty Meadows, found in the western side of the antenna tower.

Just east of Weeping Woods, you can also find equipment to interact with in the northern side of the tower.

Southwest of Dirty Docks, you’ll find another screen next to the dish once more, this time facing south.

These are only three of the seven spots available. If you’re having trouble with this quest by bumping into other players, we recommend the IO base southwest of Slurpy Swamp, which is fairly secluded from the rest of the areas.

Now live is the Superman skin, which has you find Beast Boy, Clark Kent and Armored Batman and then fly through rings and find a phone booth.

Elsewhere, the alien invasion of Fortnite continues with the arrival of mothership abducting, UFOs, Alien Artefacts, Cosmic Chests and ray guns.

There are time-limited Legendary Quests starting every Wednesday, as well as the on-going Character Collection and Fish Collection to complete!

Once you’re in front of any of the screens, all you have to do is follow the ‘upload’ prompt, and the quest will be over in a matter of seconds.

That’s all for this quest! If you haven’t check, make sure to collect a vase of flowers from Lazy Lake and collect a vintage can of cat food in Catty Corner or Craggy Cliffs while you’re doing the epic quest.
