Baldur’s Gate 3 guide: Saving Halsin and the Druid Grove
Once you return to the Druid Grove, you’ll find Halsin there. He tells you that he can’t cure your “eye tadpole” just yet. You’ll have to rest up for at least a day in your camp.
Before you do that, however, you’ve got a few loose ends to tie up.
The Hidden Vault
Speak with Rath inside the small room next to the grove. He’ll give you a wolf rune to access the Hidden Vault.
To find it, go to the nearby healing quarters just past where Nettie is. You should see a wolf’s head statue. One of the four pedestals has an empty slot where you could place the wolf rune.
Next, click on all four pedestals to reveal a stairwell. It leads to the Hidden Vault where you can loot Sorrow (rare martial 2H weapon) and the Robe of Summer (rare clothing; resistance to cold damage).
Kagha, Zevlor, and the tiefling refugees
Earlier in your Baldur’s Gate 3 campaign, you were given a choice between siding with Kagha’s druids or Zevlor’s tiefling refugees (killing either of the two). However, if you’ve avoided any confrontation, Halsin will set things right.
You’ll see him demoting Kagha, while Zevlor and the tieflings decide to continue their journey peacefully. But, first, they’ll celebrate in your camp.
The celebration and a bit of romance
Click on the “camp” button. A cutscene will play showing Zevlor and the refugees partying. If you rescued Volo earlier, as well as Scratch the dog and the owlbear cub, you’ll find them here too.
Note: As for romance, you have the option to flirt with a companion in Baldur’s Gate 3 when they ask you to have a drink with them during the party.
After a bit of rest (and/or romancing), Halsin will say that you need to reach the Moonrise Towers either by passing through The Risen Road or the Underdark.
I chose the Underdark and, once I reached the bottom area, I interacted with the raft.
You’re warned that this is the end of Baldur’s Gate 3‘s Early Access.
There are a couple of scenes — a dialogue check too — and you’ll eventually reach an ominous-looking citadel.
Another cinematic plays where Larian’s folks inform you that this is the end… for now.
