Joining the various other titles that have been pushed back in 2020 is N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action by developer Sukeban Games. If the name sounds oddly familar, that’s because it’s the sequel to VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
It seems the game will no longer launch this year, and will now arrive “when it’s done”. The team is looking to shift its focus and while production “won’t stop” this particular game will no longer be its main promotional focus.
“For the time being we’re changing N1RV Ann-A’s release date to an indefinite one and we’ll start shifting our public push towards other projects. N1RV Ann-A’s production won’t stop or slow down but it also won’t be our main promotional focus for a while.”
“Or for an even shorter version: N1RV Ann-A’s release date is now WID (When It’s Done) and we might have other projects to announce in the coming months that will come earlier than N1RV Ann-A.”
Sukeban Games’ Fernando Damas goes into more details about the delay over on the official developer page – explaining the various factors that played a part, such as creative differences, delegating programming work too late and attempting to restart production in a more formal way.
