Old is new again
As announced via a tweet and at the Ubisoft website, the event will be familiar with an “E3-style” presentation. Excited consumers can expect “a fully digital showcase with exclusive game news, reveals and more.” While Ubisoft did not exactly list out titles it will show, there are a few that we already know about.
The recently revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will definitely be a big part of Ubisoft Forward. With the adventures of Eivor set to debut on not just PC, but also next- and current-generation hardware, it will be one to watch. Other Ubisoft titles that were initially delayed will likely come back into the spotlight as well, and Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Watch Dogs: Legion will also go next-gen.
Two other games that have their own hardcore audiences may also make an appearance. Both Skulls & Bones and Beyond Good and Evil 2 have been in development for quite some time now. What better way to reemerge than at the Ubisoft Forward event? That would make sense for a new Splinter Cell or Far Cry game too; the possibilities are endless. Get ready for even more information regarding your Ubisoft games this July, as we move into a new age of gaming news.
Alongside Ubisoft Forward and Summer Game Fest, EA will be holding a digital EA Play in June. Either way, it does help restore a sense of normalcy in our current situation. More games are always something to look forward to.
